AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Do not pick or peel the scabs. If you pick off the scabs prematurely, you are pulling out the pigment with it which will leave you with a bare spot and scarring.

  • No excessive sweating for 14 days so please avoid exercising/working out. The acidity in your sweat will cause the scab to lift prematurely and cause it to fade even quicker.

  • No direct sun exposure. Wear a hat if possible. Always wear sunscreen on the brows once healed.

  • No direct water or submerging the brows in water for 10 days.

  • No tanning beds for 14 days.

  • No sauna/steam room/hot tub for 14 days.

  • Apply Vaseline 

    2 days AFTER the procedure. For the first 2 days, do not put anything on it.

  • Apply it TWICE a day (morning and night) if you have dry/normal skin and ONCE a day if you have oily or combo skin.

  • No makeup or products on the brows.

  • Keep the area clean. Wash gently with distilled or filtered water and pat dry with a clean tissue. Carefully wipe off the old ointment before reapplying a new layer. 

  • Sleep on your back. Try to avoid sleeping on your face during this time frame, since it may cause you to rub the scab and lift prematurely.

  • Avoid applying acids (glycolic, lactic or AHA) or any exfoliants for 14 days.


FOR LIPS

  • Do not pick or peel the scab. If you pick it off prematurely, you are pulling out the pigment with it.

  • Do not use any makeup or products on your lips for 14 days.

  • Do not use any Retin-A, acids (glycolic, lactic or AHA) or any exfoliants.

  • Do not use any tanning beds or expose tattoo to direct sunlight for 14 days.

  • Do not get tattoo wet. (except for eating, drinking and cleansing)

  • Do not eat any dark, saucey foods. (eg. soy sauce, teriyaki, etc)

  • Drink with a straw.

  • Keep the area moisturized with Vaseline or Burt's Bees Ultra Moisturizing Lip Balm.

  • Keep the area clean with distilled or filtered water. Aways pat dry with a clean tissue.

  • Mild swelling, bruising, itchiness and tightness is normal.

  • Your lips will appear very dark after day 2. 

  • After it's done scabbing, the color will lighten and may even look like you never had a tattoo. The true colour will appear after 3-4 weeks as it gradually comes back.

  • You should always wear lip balm with SPF once it's healed.

  • Avoid exfoliating your lips too often since it will cause the colour to fade even quicker than normal.

FOR EYELINER

  • No water, cleaners, creams, makeup or any other products on the treated area for 10 days.

  • Do not pick or peel the scab. Let it fall off naturally.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning beds for 3 weeks.

  • No excessive sweating for 10 days.

  • No facials, botox, chemical peels or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.

  • Do not sleep on your face.

  • Swelling is normal. Ice it the first day to reduce puffiness.

  • The colour will lighten significantly and slowly come back after 2-3 weeks.
