DOES IT HURT?

Every one has different pain tolerance; however, pain is typically minimal to mild. Topical anesthetic is always applied before and during each procedure.

HOW LONG IS HEALING AND WHAT IS THE HEALING PROCESS LIKE?

Healing can last anywhere from 7-14 days. The first few days may be swollen and red but will subside. Days 1-3 is when the brows will appear their darkest because of oxidization. Scabbing will start to happen around day 4 and it is important to not pick or peel it off. Do not use any makeup or products on the brows, except for the ointment given to you after your appointment. You may also use Vaseline or coconut oil. You must stay away from direct sunlight, avoid excessive sweating and not get the brows wet. It is important to sleep on your back and avoid sleeping on your face since it may cause the scab to lift prematurely. After 14 days, you may go back to your normal face routine.

WILL I NEED A TOUCH UP?

Not everyone will need a touch-up due to the retention of the pigment, however it is recommended.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I'LL NEED A TOUCH UP?

You will know. If you feel like there's a stroke that didn't heal properly or a scab accidentally came off pre-maturely, you will probably need a touch up.

IS THERE A RISK OF INFECTION?

Just like any other tattoo procedure, there is a risk of infection because it is an open wound. However, the risk is very rare. It's important not to get the wound dirty. Always wash your hands with soap before touching your brows. Stay away from dusty areas. You may very gently clean your brows with filtered/distilled water and pat dry with a clean tissue.

I PREVIOUSLY HAD WORK DONE BEFORE, CAN I STILL GET MY BROWS DONE?

Yes and no. It depends on how thick and dark your previous work is, depends on which method you choose to have done, and depends on your desired shape and thickness. If you are unsure, pease send us a photo of your bare brows.

WILL MY BROWS FADE BLUE OR GREEN?

Typically that only happens when black ink is used - the same type of ink used for body tattoos. Black ink was used for eyebrow tattooing 20 something years ago, but that is not the case now. We use Permablend pigments which is organic and made of high-quality ingredients specifically for cosmetics tattooing.

DO I NEED A CONSULTATION?

Generally, consultations are done right before the procedure. If you are unsure of anything, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

IS THERE ANY DOWN TIME? DO I NEED TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK?

There is no down time and you are free to live your life as normal. However, you must stay away from direct sunlight, avoid excessive sweating and not get the brows wet. Your brows will also appear very dark and look patchy once scabbing starts to take place. So, please schedule your events accordingly.

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

Depending on your skin type, aftercare and lifestyle, it will last anywhere from 1-2 years. It's recommended to come back for a touch up every year or so.
